Tacx Neo road feel is excessive [April 2022] [1.24] [SOLVED]

Thanks for checking and reporting back. I’ll pass this along to the team.

The good news is that the root cause is found, and we’re working on the fix. I’ll update this thread when we’re closer to a patch release.

Thank you!

This sounds like you’re adjusting it in the Tacx app. That won’t do anything in Zwift. It’s an on/off toggle, there’s no scale.

Ah- I see. I’ve never adjusted road feel in Zwift! I’ll see if that works.

Yeah it’s just in the settings menu, right down at the bottom. :+1:

Did the update today (april 13). My taxc neo 2t make a big tok tok constantly. I did switch trainer for my girlsfriend taxc neo 2t. Same thing… switch my road bike for my gravel bike…same thing…restart zwift …still the same bug… all was going well before the update. So, both bike and both trainer having the problem…look like zwift is having a bug…

most recent version of firmware

Same symptoms as everyone above. Turning off road feel in game makes it go away.

Didn’t have an issue when on Tacx Neo 2T with an iPad

Thank you for your excellent comms on this issue.

Hi with the last update yesterday my Tacx neo 2t stopped working properly. Now it also vibrates in asphalt and I had to disable the real feel function. Does anyone else have this problem? Thank you

Same here. Tacx Neo (gen 1) connected via ANT+ to a Windows 10 system running Zwift. Turning off road feel was the only work around. Tested on other platforms and the issue is specific to this recent Zwift update. I really like the road feel experience, hope we aren’t waiting long for the fix.

Hello, can we write to someone to report this problem?

Did someone who has never ridden Zwift with Road Feel think is a good idea to simulate concrete road slab gaps ‘der dum’ on ALL asphalt surfaces?

Road Feel is great for specific effects, but torture when on continuously!

Out of interest. Does this bug mean we’re actually riding on some simulated surface other than smooth tarmac? Just wondering if it also affects the power required to maintain a given effort/speed?

I’ve been riding with the road feel switched off for a while so I didn’t notice anything signicantly different today (Neo 2T, Apple TV after 1.24 update).

Hi.
Windows 10.
Tackx Neo 2 (I don’t know the firmware version and I’m out of home until sunday night)

In my case only happen in tarmac (both in Richmond and Watopia) but not in the cobbled part of Richmond,
