Hi there, my Tacx Neo2 (non-T) which I connect using bluetooth through companion app on my android phone is giving me some really hard times. It worked flawlessly for ages, but I’d say around since upgrading firmware to 2.6.0 (which first cam with race-mode) it started to sometimes give me intermittent data readings. I’m not sure it is related with the firmware upgrade but I first noticed around that time. Currently trainer is on latest 2.7.0, issues persist. Some days it still works flawlessly, on others it will only report data for about 40 seconds every minute, the other 10-20 seconds, power data is frozen. Pattern seems to repeat every minute, so its some kind of periodic thing, definitly not pure random. Strange enough I got the feeling that cadence is not as affected as power readings. HRM is also connected through companion app using bluetooth and that one seems to be completely unaffected. ANT+ is deactivated in Tacx Neo BTW.
I already tried anything I could think of to fix that issue on days it occurs, but had no luck. Among other things I tried:
- restart everything
- deactivate race mode
- shutdown and unpair any other bluetooth device on my phone
- relocate phone
- check wifi connection reliability
- a lot of other things I just cant think of right now
- tried a couple of other android phones
Anyone else ever saw such a behaviour or maybe even knows how to fix it?
Edit: forgot to mention: I use the Windows Version of Zwift on a PC without bluetooth connectivity, thats why I connect the sensors through companion app.
