I have been using a Tacx Bushido Smart Trainer and it has been fine. I have not used it for about a month and went to use it yesterday, but unable to calibrate and it keeps applying the “brakes” intermittently. Really hard to pedal and inconsistent “stuttering”.
I used it on Zwift for a quick ride, but there were a few issues with the feeling when peddling. I then went to calibrate it on the Tacx utilities app.
The app states an error. When I stop peddling at the end of the calibration, the Bushido puts the brakes on and stops the tyre.
I cannot work out how to factory reset the device. I have tried updating, deleting and reinstalling the Tacx utilities app, but same problem this morning. No device firmware updates needed.
Problem with software or the machine ? Its only 3 months old. Frustrating…
