I use the Wahoo Kickr Bike v2 and it seems Zwift has disabled the functionality of the steering buttons be able to choose directions at intersections, as it seem it caused confusion, as same buttons were used to steer right/left… hmmmm sounds a bit silly to me.
Could Zwift please please re-activate the functionality to allow steering buttons to choose direction at intersections, it was SUPER useful.
Has zwift disabled it completely? Or is there a toggle in the settings to turn it off? I have a steering block rather than buttons to stereo, but that option is available to me.
have not seen anything in ‘Settings’. Could you please share where in the setting you find it, i’ll check if there is something like that in mine. thaanks
There is also an Intersection Controls setting that governs whether steering will make turns. Perhaps that’s the issue. I don’t have a Kickr Bike but I know that option is available for other steering devices.
I doubt it. Maybe if you contact support they can sort it out. You have a couple other pairing options: WiFi Direct Connect, or pairing via the Zwift Companion app. You could try those and see if anything changes, but I would go ahead and get a support request going.
I did and they said it was disabled because it caused confusion to the users as it was same buttons used to steer right/left… not sure if I believe that though….
@shooj can you explain this? Should a Kickr Bike V2 paired as Controls have the Intersection Controls setting and be able to navigate via steering? I don’t recall an announcement about any change.
Thanks for the heads up and including some screenshots of what you’re seeing in the Pairing / game settings screens. Pictures are always helpful to us. I’ve asked the team for information, stand by.
