So Im having an issue when connecting my SRAM integrated power meter to zwift via the connect app. The power meter will connect and work fine but after about 10-15 minutes of riding the power will drop out and app will completely disconnect from the power meter
I have had no issues when connecting my pedal based meter or kickr reader through the app (it is only the sram one that gives issue)
I have also verified that when connected to my bike computer or watch there is no dropout or issues with the sram power meter
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. My first debugging suggestion is to simplify, don’t complicate by adding more variables. You’ve got the KICKR Core, Assioma, and and the Quarq all in the room and something might be getting in the way. While I understand you’re troubleshooting - wipe the slate clean instead.
First: Have you checked the battery level on your Quarq? Is its firmware up to date?
Because you’re using Apple TV, I’m going to suggest starting by uninstalling the Zwift main app, and reinstall. On ATV, this is the only way to wipe the file that retains your known devices and you’ll pair to them as though for the first time.
Once you’re reinstalled and logged in, pair to your various thing in this sequence using the Companion app as a bridge:
Power: KICKR Core
2a. Resistance: KICKR Core. It may take ~15 seconds for this Bluetooth signal to appear AFTER the Power signal has bonded to Zwift. This lag is normal and expected over Blueooth.
2b: Back to Power: unpair the KICKR Core, pair the Quarq. << switching power sources is a manual step to do each time you log in.
3: Cadence: KICKR Core
4: Controllers: Zwift Click
Heart Rate Monitor: if using.
Does that get everything working again?
Additional questions: are you dual-recording power? Why do you prefer pairing the Quarq to Zwift instead of keeping that as the power source paired to your GPS head unit indoors and outdoors?
