Snapshots not appearing

Hi All,
Am pretty new to Zwift but have encountered a problem since the update.
None of my own snapshots or ones from group rides are available to view. They just show as black boxes.
Any ideas on what I can do.

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Can I ask for more context? Are these the photos in your Zwift activity feed, or the ones that get passed along to Strava / Garmin / other third party partner?

I looked through your server log history and see you have logged in to Zwift from a Samsung Galaxy S22 phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 tablet. Which of those is your preferred device? We recommend uninstalling the main Zwift app from whichever is not your main Zwifting device.

When you’re logged in from both devices at the same time, weird things can happen, including activities you did not terminating correctly and missing out on route badges, missing distance / elevation, among other things.

After you’ve eliminated concurrent logins as a suspect - do the snapshots appear as expected?

Thanks for the quick response.

The snapshots do not appear in either Zwift feed, Garmin or Strava.

I have uninstalled the app from all other devices and restarted them but the snapshots have not appeared.
However the achievments and badges were not affected.

I take it the snapshots are gone for good.(not really that important in the grand scheme of things).

Am doing a group ride tomorrow
Can I reply to this if it happens again or would i need to submit a new query?

Snapshots still not showing.
Have uninstalled the main app from everything except the phone. The event went without any problems. I was able to take a pic but nothin is showing up.
However did a virtual walk (Garmin 245) straight after and it loaded the map and a picture , which i didnt take.???

can you find the screenshots saved on your Galaxy phone in the photo gallery, wondering if you have some photo sharing app, onedrive, etc, running that is saving the photos to a different location maybe so Zwift can’t find them?

Nothing, photo wise has saved from zwift since the 26th of August.
No other photo apps running.


The attached shows what appears in my Zwift Feed in the Companion App and Zwift web site.

Maybe this problem? It looks like you have screenshots but they are black.

For clarity @Paul_Robertson are you saying that 1) you manually took a photo during the group ride and 2) that manual photo did not save to your Activity feed 3) you did a run/walk in Zwift and the automatically-taken photo DID save to your Activity feed?

Am I understanding all three of those correctly?

Checking back in on you. I’m still curious about my questions above, but in the meantime we’ve been doing a little digging.

Does your end of ride screen look like this, with black images? If so - click on the square green icon in the top right corner of those black images.

When you do - does the correct screenshot appear with the green square now greyed out?
