For at least a year I’ve run my Apple TV box hardwired to my network via Ethernet cable, and run Companion on wireless on my iPhone. Suddenly this week Companion recognizes I’m riding, but won’t open any activity I’m doing, whether a workout of free ride. Has something changed? Should it work?
Yes it does work, assuming they are on the same network - in other words, connected to the same hub/router and served DHCP addresses in a range that allows them to route traffic to each other.
This is how my ATV4K and iPhone are configured.
Thanks… how do I know if the DHCP addresses are correct for routing as you say?
