Route Chaser: The Grade not showing completed routes

Checking on my Route Chaser: The Grade today and sadly all of the routes are marked as incomplete.
I’ve done 4 of the 5 of them, so wondering if/how I can get this corrected or if its an issue with how I did them. All were done as free rides and def got the badges. hitting the last one tomorrow.!

some screenshots for reference

Did you click on the route from inside the challenge and start a ride to activate it?

You shouldn’t have to. No need to do that on the Cardio Crusher Challenge.
It needs to be consistent from challenge to challenge, otherwise it just gets confusing and frustrating to people.
Also using the “My List” feature to que up the routes would be worthless.
Or at the very least it should be stated within the challenge, that only way to get credit is to choose the ride through there.

You need to start the challenge, then ride the routes.

Although for the XP equivalent of 50km of riding I’m not sure whether you’ll be bothered. Not sure I am!

Did Radio Rendezvous today on a workout, challenge was active and route did not get marked as cleared. Zwift should make it clearer on how to finish the challenge. When I click the challenge there is also no button to check in or anything.

so I did Power To The Tower today [launched it from the challenge directly] which did work. That’s a real crappy flaw in how this thing was done. I’m not that mad at 1000XP but still annoying.

Same here. I have activated the challenge and I have selected Snowman as the first ride. It doesn’t specify an order, so figured that it didn’t matter. Snowman was a better fit for the training I had yesterday.

I did already have the badge for this one, but that was way before this challenge was active. I rode it, completed it, but it doesn’t show up in the challenge on my screen. Waited a day, but nothing’s changed.

Very frustrating.

This kind of problem is very common with challenges, missions, Zwift Academy, etc. Anything where you are expected to complete a certain number of activities. If the ride saved correctly you can get support to fix it. Personally I’ve stopped trying to complete those multi-activity things because it’s not worth the effort to fix the issues.

To add to reports of this:

I just completed Mayan 8 (selected from Route list) and didn’t get credit on the Router Chaser: The Grade for that ride.

Yeah, I started chipping away at these a couple of weeks ago, but didn’t first select the Route Chaser challenge, so none of them are checked off. I’m not planning on doing them again for a small XP bonus, just want the route badges.

I just do AdZ since you get 1000XP 1/3 times

Yeah, AdZ is not a bad option

I ignored that challenge since I’ve done those routes already, no need to do them again.

yea same. I figure if I’m riding that many routes / miles might just keep hitting AdZ

Starting Oct. 6, 2024 my “Activity Title” does not list the name of the ride it just list "Watopia.

Is this a know problem?

I rode Power to the Tower yesterday, it didn’t mark as complete. I don’t fancy doing it again!

Same. 1000XP is a very small carrot.

Agreed.

This may not be the thread for what follows, but It seems to me that doing a structured workout yields fewer XP than just doing a free ride of the same distance. I have done the math on this several times with consistent results.

That’s just not right! The XP award system needs an overhaul.

Hi @Kurt_O_Conn
Do you mean on the screen just before you save and exit the game app? Or do you mean in the Companion app / The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App web page once the ride’s over?

I don’t want to sound rude, so please don’t hear it as such…I just don’t know how else to say it….This reply to @Kurt_o_ Conn is not me, nor does it answer the question I posted.

Maybe I confused readers by the way I asked my question. Let me be brief and hopefully to the point.

If I were to ask you when (what calendar date) you completed (earned the route badge) for the “Legends and Lava” route in Watopia, where would you find that date ?

That is my question; where specifically can I find the date ? I use the companion app and of course, the Zwift app on my Apple TV. I would think the easiest would be to date the route badge as listed within your achievements , but that is not the case, that I can see.

Thank you,
Susan
