How am I booted when I have the lead with .3 miles to go and an aero waiting in my first race on my new ZWift Ride ? It felt and looked like an old Xbox glitch. I’m not running Apple TV and it was my first race. These pics don’t align w the ride. I was DeF forced out. I have video of the race ??? Please advise. That was a tough effort. Ty
Happy New Year
That image in the strava upload suggests you had connectivity issues - all the other riders have disappeared.
Yeah it might, hard to say, but what’s clear from the picture is that the computer is struggling. When the rider disappears but the bike remains that usually means there is a serious performance problem like CPU exhaustion.
@glenn_rhodes can you describe the device you are running the game on? If it’s a PC, I would like to know the CPU, GPU, and amount of RAM in it.
If you’re in an event that has a power meter or smart trainer requirement, any interruption to the connectivity between that device and Zwift will result in being ejected from the event if you don’t get it paired up again quickly. That can also be caused by terrible performance problems.
Ok. I’ll go w it. Connectivity issue? W / 1/2 mile to go and never a problem before? It’s my first race
, not my first rodeo. Lol, it’s all good. I was heated. I know what I saw. I have video of the race too, it’s too coincidental where it failed. Not gonna be that guy, was just curious if anyone had the isssue as well. I’ll be back. Just ugly first experience. Thank you for your time and input. Ride on. Have a great new year
If you say more about what you’re running the game on, I may be able to tell you if other people are experiencing that problem or if anything can be done about it.
I’m guessing you have a PC with a Ryzen CPU and Radeon integrated graphics, but you tell me…
Hello Paul, I am using an iPhone 15 and was casting with chrome cast to a Sony tv… I haven’t had any issues since that race. However,I don’t get “full sound” when linking w Chromecast, when I disconnect CC I get full sound and stay connected, it’s weird but it works. Thanks for any help you can offer. Best wishes. Glenn
I think the best thing to try, if practical, would be connecting to the TV using an HDMI adapter so you can use a cable. This removes any dependency on wireless capabilities or performance in the phone or TV or Chromecast.
Ty very much for your time and support , I may even have one of those hdmi connectors handy. Much appreciated. Have a great day.
