Power Issue Wahoo Kickr

I have a Wahoo Kickr and since that last iOS update when connecting to Zwift I am not getting any power being recorded the avatar stays still. Cadence is connecting ok. I have deleted both apps and then reloaded and still nothing. Help!!!

Please list what devices you use for the Zwift game as well, how are you connecting, bluetooth, etc..

Also, try connecting to the wahoo app and see if the trainer is registering power in the wahoo app. Then close and kill the wahoo app on your phone so Zwift can connect to the trainer.

I am using my iPhone to connect via Bluetooth.

I have connected to the Wahoo app and I am unable to get any power recorded on the spin up.

sounds like the trainer is dead, time to contact wahoo support

Oh no - does that mean time for a new trainer??? I have cleaned the trainer and there is peer when connected to the mains. I have had it 10 years.

It might be dead. The other question is whether there’s any chance it’s still paired to some other app when you are running the Wahoo app, such as Zwift or really anything. You could also use a Bluetooth scanner like Bluetooth Inspector to see if the trainer is visible at all. I guess if it pairs it should show up so maybe that is not that useful.

Since you appear to be in the UK, there is also an independent repair specialist you could talk to: https://www.theturbotrainerdoctor.com/

Another possibility is something interfering with the optical sensor in the trainer. There are various YouTube videos and Reddit topics about dealing with that.
