Please stop making us reconnect sensors after every ride

Having to reconnect all of our sensors after each ride in the Android app it is incredibly annoying and such a time waster!!! Why is this even a thing? Sensors stay connected when we go from any free ride, pacer group, workout, etc into a scheduled event, so why do they disconnect when we end a ride?? The original activity ends just fine, it’s logged into the system and sensors stay connected, so the code functionality is there and working In fact, why are we kicked out to the log-in screen after ending a ride at all?? This is terrible coding logic and massively frustrating for your users.

The fix is simple, when you end a ride, it takes you back to the “home” screen where you can choose another route, a pacer ride, workout, etc and your sensors stay connected. If I want to log out, put an exit button on the end ride screen like any other app in today’s world.

Yes this is a first world problem, but I’m literally wasting 5 mins every time I finish a ride, waiting for the game to log me out, log back in, reconnect all my sensors, and get back to the “Home” screen. Which is where I want to go 95% of the time after I finish a ride.

Sorry for the rant, but this is like having to re-pick your frame and wheels before every ride because the Android app doesn’t have persistence / save capabilities levels of nonsense.

Can we please get some basic 2025 app functionality?

Thank you.

Move to a Windows PC, it auto connects all my sensors. Takes several seconds to go through the connections then starts a countdown timer giving you enough time to change anything then it just completes the login. I wonder how many people are actually using an Android device to run Zwift ? I only use an Android tablet to run the Zwift Companion App. I suspect perhaps many Android users are on a bike that isn’t actually theirs like at a Gym so they change bikes all the time and have to do the sensors every time.

Or maybe they are watching TV while they ride like me??

And don’t get me started on the lack of an Android TV app or the low res graphics on the Android app

I’m well aware that things work better on the PC app vs the Android app, doesn’t mean the Android app should be a hobbled piece of junk.

And unfortunately, not convenient to drag my bike & trainer over to my computer.
