Play Controller Ride On Feedback

I have the Play Controllers and I like them. I’ve learned to turn them on after the Zwift App is up for consistant connections (turns blue). One issue that I haven’t been able to figure out is Ride Ons. A long hold of the Z button creates a Ride On bomb. That works fine. A short hold Z is supposed to send a Ride On reply to a Ride On. I don’t know of any visible feedback in the game that would confirm that back-at-ya Ride Ons actually occur. Am I missing something?

Do you get the haptic feedback when you hit Z to return a ride-on?

The little orange thumb icon goes away.

Of course, that presumes they’re close enough to you that you can see in in Riders Nearby. =)

If they’re in front of you, usually you’ll see the blue thumb over their head. No guarantee it’s your Ride On though.

haptic
[/quote] Nope. There’s no feedback unless it’s audible and I don’t hear it because I’ve got the audio turned down. I can see the Ride On clock time down. When I hold down the Z button the timer starts. The timer is probably 3 seconds. When the timer end the Ride On bomb is sent.

I think sometimes the Ride On come from folks that are just watching, or maybe I’ve passed them.

yeah, but I was talking about the short single press of the Z button to return a ride-on, not send a ride-on bomb. There is a vibration/haptic feedback when you do that and it sends a ride-on return to whomever gave you one.

They only vibrations I’ve noticed is when they first connect to the App and the bomb. I don’t think they vibrate with a regular Ride On.
