I am trying to pair my watch to my trainer. I bring up the “add sensor” option on my watch and I can see the trainer.
Problem is that it gets stuck on “Connecting to PWR-KICKR CORE ABC”…
How can this be resolved?

Let me confirm that Garmin® makes watches that track your run speed, cadence, and heart rate and allow you to use them with Zwift.

Which watch do you have, and are you planning to use it to control the trainer? If so you will need to ensure that the trainer is not paired to Zwift on the Resistance tile on the pairing screen. Only one thing can control the trainer. If you’re just planning to read power numbers and record that on the watch, that would not prevent you from controlling the trainer from Zwift.
Since your question is not really Zwift related, you might want to contact either Garmin or Wahoo support if you’re unable to resolve it.
