The problem is the magnets, align them properly so it can be detected.
So the Zwift can have difficulty reading the magnets even if your Garmin equipment is reading them accurately with no difficulty?
No, if your garmin can read the sensor so will zwift. The Garmin is just a test to see if indeed your magnets is in the correct location.
I need help on this too. My Edge 520 is picking up supper, cadence and power from an Elite Direto. The Ant stick in my laptop is picking up cadencewhich is displaying on screenin Zwift but that my avatar is firmly fixed to the side of he road and won’t budge.
Simon,
You will need a speed sensor to get the avatar to move, the cadence sensor is not enough. The Edge is not needed and will not assist you in getting Zwift to work, you need to pair everything on the pairing screen on Zwift.
Thanks, Paul
I’m running a smart trainer so don’t get the option to pair a speed sensor. Swift is picking up the RPM from it, as well the Ant+ Signal from my HRM strap but sadly it seems that’s not enough. I’m going to try a friend’s Ant stick to see if that sorts the issue, but I’d be glad of any other thoughts you may have.
