No Signal after pairing

@Neil_Murray

I see a MacbookPro running OSX Catalina 10.15 connect to your account on Dec 28. Did this problem start when you upgraded the OS from v10.11.6?

If so this may be related to the the changed in folder permissions that Apple implemented in Catalina. For some users, denying folder permissions resulsts in the app not starting at all. For others, it may create flaky app performance.

Please see this previous thread and see if manually enabling folder permissions clears it up?

Hi,
Was the upgrade the issue? I have the same problem today connecting with my bushido.

I’m SO tired of this issue! It happens every single time without exception when I run zwift from my MacBook. It’s incredibly demotivating.

I am seriously surprised that zwift hasn’t fixed this yet - looking through the endless series of complaints about this an ZERO progress is a disaster. Especially when thinking about how much money zwift gets in membership fees!

Had this been a “normal” company zwift would be out of business. Unfortunately there are no alternatives - hence the arrogance. So disappointing!

Hi @Mads_Lauritzen
Welcome to Zwift forums.

This implies that you also run the Zwift app on a different device, is that correct?

If you have multiple devices logged in to the same account at the same time, it can cause device #2 to think it’s connected to the trainer, when in fact the trainer is still paired to device #1. Please make sure to exit the game from all other devices. That means saving & uploading a session you want to keep in your actiivty history, or “trashing” it.

Then log in from your Macbook. Does that solve the issue?

Hi I’m basically having the same problem. I’m on a Tacx Bushido trainer and I used to have a perfect signal after pairing. For about a year I’ve only been able to connect through the Companion app on my iphone. The MacBook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7, does not manage to pick up the signal without bridgeing through the app. I can live with it, but would like to use my phone for other purposes while going for a long ride in Zwift, so it would be nice to find a solution. Can I alter any settings on my Mac to make it work?

I have the excat same problem on Tacx Flux S smart trainer on Windows 10
The trianier is picked up in Bluetooth devices. Although the trainer is connected is displays no signal.
I have unpaired and re paired. I have re installed the Bluetooth drivers and Zwift, but keep on getting the below.
There are no other devices connected to the trainer.
It works perfectly on other applications such as Tacx, Rouvy and Trainer road.
This use to work fine and then just stopped working.

Have u fixed the problem of “No signal with the bluetooth”?
Thanks in advance
