After a good summer outdoors I plugged the trainer back in and fired up Zwift this morning.
My Wahoo Kickr Core paired with Zwift and when I tried to start the ride my avator just was not going anywhere. No power and No cadence!
I tried to unpair and reconnect. This did not resolve.
I then went into the Wahoo app and updated the firmware and then tried to perform a spindown but even in the Wahoo app there is no power, cadence or speed being picked up.
Trainer clearly on. Clearly connecting with apps but no data coming.
Similar issue. I used Zwift the day before downloading the update with no issues, everything normal. After the update, my Wahoo Kickr is connected, but no power and no cadence data. Oddly, I could ride for a few minutes, but then pedaling stopped. HRM is connected and has data.
I deleted the app and re-downloaded, but still no power, cadence, or speed.
I completed a Rouvy ride instead, and all the Wahoo Kickr Core trainer data was there, power, cadence, speed, everything. So it’s an issue with the Zwift update, not a problem with the Wahoo Kickr Core.
Hi @Derek_Chapin, welcome to the forums!
I’m Fernanda, from Zwift.
I want to put my two cents here and help you with your issue, after checking your logs I can see that the firmware of your Wahoo KICKR CORE is on version 1.3.17, could you please follow these steps to update the firmware to version 1.5.5, this can be the reason the avatar is not moving in the Zwift App, with every update of the app the firmware of the devices needs to be up to date too.
On the other hand, @James_Twidale, as Steve let you know, since your trainer is failing in Zwift and the manufactured app too, it would be best to address this issue with the manufacturer.
