No movement of my avatar

I am a loyal customer and have been using Zwift for several years. This is the first time I have had problems. I use Zwift on PC or Apple TV. Both in combination with a Wahoo Kickr version 4.

Since the last update, my avatar no longer moves. Watt and cadence are displayed, but the rider does not move. The problem exists on both Apple TV and PC. If I set the power source only to my Quarke power meter without controlling the Kickr, my avatar does not move either. I have already reinstalled the PC version - without success.

What can I do?

Do you use Zwift Play controllers? Because it looks like your brakes are on (bright red tail light). If so then it is probably a Play controller issue which is most likely a sweat ingress problem. Talk to Zwift support.

Steve, I would never have thought of that. Yes, I use the controllers. What’s interesting is that one controller works on its own - it doesn’t matter if I connect just the right or just the left. As soon as both are connected, the brake light comes on and my avatar stops.

There is also a setting (slider) that will allow you to disable braking. Maybe that will help while you await a response from support.

Paul, this tip also works great. Thank you very much. I’ve gotten so used to the Play Controller that I don’t want to be without it anymore.
