Yea I have the same issue and this does effect use to not know the gear you’re in.
I to lost the gear display since the last update. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I have found that if you uninstall and install the Zwift app the gears show back up. But it’s a pain as you have to do this every time you use Zwift.
Watt Bike 1st Generation user with the same issue as previous respondents. Hoping one day that Zwift could provide a release without breaking something!
I have done free rides every day this week on my Wattbike Atom next generation with no issues but alas today have this problem where no gears are showing on screen - gears working fine but very annoying that you can’t see which gear you’re actually in.
This only started for me today but seems to be some weeks for others
Is the update being rolled back?
I’m the same no gear display on the Atom , updated iPad yesterday and nothing since
Wattbike 2 running via BT on windows 10 laptop. Gears displaying earlier in the week but not today - I aware of Apple users having issues - but not Windows ? - Any other Windows users got this problem ?
Will be stopping subscription unless this is sorted quickly. Zwift is pretty expensive @ £13 pm - so it needs to work as advertised . We not beta testers
They are doing a phased rollout of 1.34. I’ve never heard of Zwift rolling back an update.
Must have had the 1.34 update on Win machine - No gears on Win Bluetooth aswell now - Its quite annoying tbf.
Do we have an update or fix yet?
Thank you
10 days without an update is poor… this is a paid for subscription
Simon, agreed. That’s why I chased. Not very good imo
It would be extremely unusual for a non-critical bug to get fixed within the amount of time that has transpired here. Last year we saw Apple TV HD users unable to run the app at all for weeks. There are no roll-backs of releases, just waiting for the next one. Releases usually contain more than single fixes, so they really need to be tested fully or something worse will be shipped. It should be managed better but that’s the present reality and what you should expect.
Same issue for me: Wattbike Atom V1 & Apple TV, and gear display has disappeared from the top of the screen. Given that there’s no feedback available on which gear you’re in from the bike (you can’t look down & see chainrings!) it definitely makes it harder to ride well, and particularly for sprinting.
Fix soooooon, please!
Really wish I had looked here two hours ago before I started running a whole bunch of checks to fix things. It is definitely a V1.34 problem as I have V1.33 on another laptop (windows) and gears show fine. Laptop with V1.34 doesn’t show gears. Makes for a whole new challenge.
Welcome to the world of Android users. I had over a year of no gear display. Then I inherited a PC when my lad got a new one.
One ride on the PC with gear display. One. Then Zwift upgraded.
Now no gear display.
Luckily, I’d not got used to it, so its absence isn’t killing me.
Any update on this yet? it was flagged 12 days ago now and should be a simple fix to put back but is having a massive impact on riding and racing in zwift. You have to count the gear changes and remember which one your in, which is extremely difficult when racing. Amazed this wasnt picked up in testing as its a basic but vital function on the display for a wattbike
Unfortunately, staggered release means delayed bug fixes.
I noticed my gears disappeared yesterday.
Emailed support and reply is “Regarding your case, I would like to explain to you that we’re aware of this known issue. While we’re currently working on fixing it—will be resolved in the next update.”
