New Zwift Home Screen Update [January 2022]

The Pace Partner video shows only Pace Partners for Watopia. What happens when the Pace Partners for both Watopia and Makuri Islands are active?

Here’s a screenshot…

Hi
Nice home screen improvements :ok_hand:

Will there be a possibility to move any of the badges around the screen to suit individual preference?
e.g. - I would move the ‘Routes’ badge to the second tier next to ‘Events’ & ‘Workouts’

I do like this new badge style though👍

This should surely make it easier for :green_apple::tv: users? As the icons, badges, are now much bigger targets to aim for with that silly, skinny little remote?

Thanks

Oh wow, the feature cards look tiny compared to the background.

Would have expected it to be responsive.

I blew up your photo to full screen on my normal 14" laptop I use and can’t really make out any of the copy

Use the photos in the first post, that give you a better idea of how it actually look.

Maybe. My screen like the latest example shown, is 1900 x 1080 though. The original screen shot is taken from a 720p display. Hence 2.5 tiles in the latter take up about 1/2 of the screen height, while the original examples 2.5 tiles take up a lot more real estate? Would setting the game settings to 720p resolution solve for the home screen appearance

Might depend if they are set to specific pixel dimensions, or as percentages of screen dimensions.

Just for reference. That is a W10 computer connected to a 55" TV at 2k resolution. It doesn’t matter what resolution I make Zwift. The interface is always that tiny. It is impossible to read without standing a foot away.

That doesn’t look like a responsive layout :man_facepalming:

This one seem to be from a 1920x1080 display.

The titles are a bit confusing - are the upcoming events above the title but the just ride bits below it?

As I understand: Under the heading My Upcoming Events you will see the events you have entered and that is where you will choose Events and workouts.

Under Just ride is all the unstructured free rides, like riding with pace partners or in the route of your choosing. There is also 3 suggested routes in the row.

ah ok - so what are the bits at the top?

Those look like special events. So Tour de Zwift and the Wahoo Climbing Mission in the example.

That’s certainly more promising. I can’t speak to what/why @Matthew_Popin is getting on his setup though.

Hey all, new to Zwift so the new menu is my first experience with the app on PC. I am seeing the same issue as @Matthew_Popin but only when I move the Zwift window over to my secondary monitor (a 1080p HDTV connected via HDMI). Most of the other menus seem ok, but the home menu is impossible to use. If I move it back over to my main monitor it corrects itself and looks fine. I have tried messing with resolution settings but can’t resolve. If anyone has any ideas let me know.

That’s ridiculous, it needs rolling back until they sort the scaling issues.

Well it seems to be rolling out very slowly anyway, I still don’t have it!

Hi @Murray_Rounthwaite @Matthew_Popin @AdamHamsterbrain welcome to Zwift forums

We are working on responsive scaling. We appreciate your feedback!
