New Zwift Club Help

Hi I’ve created a club on Zwift and I’m aware now that when I create a group ride event in that club it can only be seen by club members or people with the link.

How do I get my club supported by Zwift HQ so that my rides appear on the event schedule tab on the companion app?

I don’t have a huge social media following and my real life people don’t cycle and I would like to build the community that I’ve started to build in my club more.

Thank you

Sorry but you likely can’t. It’s a chicken and egg thing. You’d need to get plenty of people riding your events first (e.g. via promoting them on social media) and then show the Zwift events team that those events deserve to be on the public calendar.

If everyone with a club was able to add events to the public calendar then there would be a gazillion events on there, most with very few riders.

That sucks! Haha …… do you want to join my club? :innocent:

I have seen a few clubs pull off events that draw in public participation. It takes a club with enough members and discipline to sign up early to demonstrate some numbers, then promoting it over the course of a couple weeks with some nice graphics, a well written pitch, and most importantly a good idea for the event that people will be interested in. If that works a few times then you can talk to the events team about finding a time slot where most of your club can join and the event doesn’t conflict with other similar events. Even after it gets on the public calendar you will need to do regular promotion and take steps to keep the event fresh and interesting.
