New to Zwift and rider wont move

I am new to Zwift and have set up based on the directions. I used my phone to link the Bluetooth the first time I did it. I had no issues linking the power source, resistance, cadence, or play controllers. I then went to the ride, and the rider would not move. When I peddle, the warmup time does not decrease, and the wats remain at 0w the entire time. I returned to ensure everything was still connected, and nothing had disconnected. I again went to the ride and the same thing. Each time I exit the ride, I trash it to exit the ride completely. I then went to the forum to see if others were having issues. I read that if you have Zwift running on your phone and app they may interfere with each other. So I restarted the process by deleting the app on my phone and only using the app on my AppleTV. Same issues. So I did the opposite and deleted the app on the AppleTV and only used my phone. Same issue. I do not know what the issue is, but any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.


Try it directly from the Wahoo app and see if that reads any power.

Does the Kickr Core have two ‘identities’ such that one shows as ‘controllable’? If so, try using that for the ‘Resistance’ connection.
Is this potentially a case of too many Bluetooth connections for the Apple TV?
Definitely worth confirming you can get a power connection with the Wahoo app.

Power/Cadence/Resistance is one connection. The Click is the other. So based on that pairing screen picture, it looks correct.

I would check for firmware in the Wahoo app, apply any available updates, unplug the trainer for 30 seconds, plug it back in. Then do a spindown in the Wahoo app. If that succeeds, do a ride in the Wahoo app. If either of those things fails, contact support (either support@zwift.com, or Wahoo).
