macOS problems with new update? [1.13.0] [May 19 2021] [SOLVED]

this did not work for me

I echo the sentiment. I know I am over reacting, however this has really annoyed me. I guess it shows how much I value Zwift, and highlights how OCD I am about my training - however I have IRL goals to achieve and I am feeling really frustrated that I am now swinging around BKool and Trainer Road to try and get a system working so that I can get my training session completed. Grrrrrrrrr

Same issue here… fine last night until the update now can’t get passed the login screen… just crashes and closes. Please get this up and running. This is a paid for service that I am no reviving!

Same problem here. Zwift fails me AGAIN…

Same issue as in post #1 here.

Kept getting the same message and Zwift not loading.

Read in here that someone got it started after 5-ish tries.

So kept trying and got in after 8-10 tries.

Hoping for a fix soon. I also lead morning rides and don’t have 5-15 min plus lottery luck to get in each time if I get in at all.

Same issue as everyone here. Tried reinstalling and no luck. Please update when you have a fix in place as I’ve now missed my planned ride

Both our older mac minis are having issue, but my wife’s imac (desktop) is working. Go figure. Unfortunately we can’t move desktop to where bikes are. No Zwift for us… :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: (I know, same boat as everyone else. Just excited to see new world. Eventually…)

x2 …. Yo tengo un MacBook Pro y nunca mas volvió a funcionar :man_facepalming:t2::man_facepalming:t2::man_facepalming:t2::man_facepalming:t2:

See my post above, Matt. I got it to work by renaming (or you could delete) the Zwift folder in my Documents folder.

Yes. Exactly the same. I have attempted all suggestions without success. Why do they force updates, created a problem for us and themselves unnecessarily. You’d think they would have had enough practice of doing this (badly) by now!

Same issue, did a factory reset on my MacBook Pro, uninstalled and reinstalled like 10 times, nothing works. Had to use my phone to get on today and could barely see anything on the tiny screen! Hope there’s a solution soon!

Hey there— I had this issue with a MacBook Air that has been running Zwift just fine up until this point. I deleted and reinstalled Zwift, restarted the computer, nothing worked.

Then I saw there were some outstanding security updates that I had (still running High Sierra btw) and once I installed them and restarted the computer I’m able to get back on.

Hopefully this helps you and anyone else experiencing issues out there! Happy Zwifting.

Also unable to Launch on Mac, app just disappears after clicking Let’s Go. One time it very briefly went from the welcome screen to the loading screen but then just went. Reinstalled and restarted multiple times. Time for ride gone now, come back and try again tomorrow I guess…

Two days ago I was getting, “Something went wrong-” after hitting the “Let’s Go” button, after updating yesterday it doesn’t launch beyond that, even tried a reinstall.

Hi what folder did you uninstall please?

Did the upgrade this morning and since doing so launching Zwift, press lets go and it just crashes - Running MacBook macOS Sierra 10.12.6, seems I might not be alone. Any resolutions?

Same. How do we fix?

do you have an update on this?

Here here. Same problem for me.

Uninstall it from add&remove programs (Uninstall or remove apps and programs in Windows)

Remove the folder c:\program files (x86)\zwift

Then download and install the app
