Macbook Pro – No ANT+ Dongle (Garmin ANTUSB-m)

Hi

Zwift says I’m not having an Ant+ Dongle.

Plugged is the ANT+ Dongle from Garmin (ANTUSB-m)

I’m running a Macbook Pro (Late 15) on OSX 10.11

Not sure, if the system itself recognize the Dongle – does anyone know where I can see, if the ANT+ is connected to the system?

And does anyone have the same problems? Already solutions?

Thx

Cyrill

Hi Cyrill,

Try unplugging the ANT+ dongle, rebooting your machine, plugging it back in but into a different USB port, and then starting Zwift.

Let me know if that helps.

Hello Eric,

Thanks for trying to help.

It was a silly thing – found out, that I have to push the stick unnaturally strong into the usb-slot. It’s not ready if you’re feeling/hearing the first click sound… you have to push again. Maybe this helps other Macbook Users and they can save all the research I’ve done yesterday. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway I found out, my Tacx Bushido isn’t new enough to use it with Zwift. So I ordered a 2016 Taxc Vortex. Hope with this move, everything will work properly.

Thanks for helping me anyway – can’t wait to go for the first ride with Zwift.

Not a problem, Cyrill. I think you’re really going to like that Vortex Smart
