Im Club admin, and i have to manage all Zwifters we have in our Club. Its quite easy achieve 5000 followings, (requested and accepted - both counts).
Im sure several users along the years left Zwifting, and i should be removing them from my list. However its very dificult task in Companion or in Zwift Website, because there are no way to filter/ list by:
Country; Gender; Last activity date done on Zwift; Following request not answered; Age;
Thanks in advance if you could develop such features, at least on Zwift website.
According i can realize we can follow maximum of 5000 zwifters. It also includes following requests not answered.
Zwift Website or Companion, should have a way to list/ filter our current list FOLLOWING by: COUNTRY; FOLLOWING REQUEST (not answered and date of request).
List of zwifters we are FOLLOWING should include date of last activity of that user, (along the years many users left Zwift and they keep occupying a space in our 5000 list, so we could remove following).
it probably should although i’d say the 5000 limit is super generous so not really an issue unless spamming out follow requests… You would need to be spamming out follow request to all sorts of random riders you don’t know to get near that limit.
@Alexandre_Martins1
What you’re asking for violates our community’s right to privacy, and is not going to happen. Zwift has a responsibility to safeguard every member’s private information such as gender, age, and location, and that is something we take very seriously.
If they already opt in to sharing their supposed country, age and gender, how does this feature request create additional problems? Plus if you see them out on the road you can view power, heart rate, reported country, and even their gender if they pick up a jersey, whether they opt to share that data or not right?

I understand the need to safeguard a member’s private information - just age, gender, and what flag they want to show don’t seem to be protected at all.
I checked one of my rides, clicked a link to a random rider who I don’t know, got redirected to their private profile and I can see their age, their gender, their screen name, and what country’s flag they’re showing.
For Alexandre’s request as well, they’re talking about people they’re currently following (or have requested to follow). If the follow request was accepted, doesn’t that also represent the user explicitly agreeing to share this data as well with the requestor?
I already follow those 5000 users, so i have access to them information, such country, age, weight, … i just would like to filter members from my list that i follow, in order then i decide which i can remove from my list.
Date of last activity is also very important. Zwift exists since 2015, 8 years had pass over, and many users do not zwift for many years and if we could list/ filter people we are following, it would be much easier remove the following!
IF you Zwift since 2015, and you usually start following other Zwifters you draft on rides, or racers you like to compete on races, you’ll see its quite easy achieve 5000. Mainly, I just would like a way to filter people im following that are not zwifting for 2 years and people i request to follow but didn’t answer my request, and then i would remove the following. Thats one way to say 5000 is super generous
Still seems a lot but yes i get your point. I’m no where near 5000 despite being long term sweep/lead on rides and regualar racing. I guess everyone is different on who they follow so there is some merit in being able to clear your list.
maybe some sort of auto unfollow option button to remove anyone that has no zwifted in n days.
Filters for the following/followers lists would be nice to have but simply raising the limit to 10000 would be an inexpensive way to kick the can down the road a bit
