Hi all!
Used my Zwift play controller 2 times in a short ride. But the last ride it won’t power on anymore. Press the Z buton, nothing happens. It is fully charged (green light when I put in USB cable).
Right controller functions normally (blue lights when pressing the Z button).
Is my left controller broken?
Contact Zwift support.
I had the same after owning them for 1 month, which is not great. Tried following the online support suggestions with no luck. Contacted Zwift Support. After a few emails about trying a few more steps and sending a video of the controller not working they’re sending out a new LHS controller. Need to send back the current one.
Exact same issue - left controller power button stopped working - I’ll contact support directly. Thanks

Just bought zwift ride ( 2days ago) and im so …angry , left controller blinks blue for 3-6sec then turns off, and NOW when i put in the charging cable the right turns green but the left nothing ! No support from the support!
- Please try gently pressing and holding the big Z button for 30 seconds on the affected controllers, this should restart the unit completely.
Tried that 10 times , 30s, 1min, 2min, worked one time but the issue came back

Still waiting, this support is incredibly frustrating, never experienced anything like this, it’s not like I seem to be the only one with this problem, so why not be faster on the problems instead of us customers having a product that we don’t can use
I’m afraid it’s documented there is a backlog. I’m sure they’ll get back to you as soon as they can.
I have same problem. Controllers worked fine for a year and now left one won’t turn on. Tried the 30 second reboot.
I think I win…I had a left Play controller fail back in March. Same symptoms as others - green light for charging, but nothing else. Wouldn’t turn on.
Zwift support were helpful, and replaced it very promptly. It was only used a couple of times before I ceased using the trainer for the summer.
Restarted again in late September, and tonight…the left controller has failed again, in exactly the same way.
Whilst support were great (last time), to say I’m unimpressed with the product would be an understatement. I generally have very few hardware issues with anything, so to have two of the same product fail in exactly the same way, on a product purchased 15 months ago…
