Hey team, I bought the wahoo rollr yesterday and tried to connect to my existing zwift account. I connected my wahoo rollr in power source box then disconnected all other boxs(i.e.cadence,etc). The KICKR ROLLR.is paired to zwift. but, rider stands with a foot on the road when the actual bike is pedaling. Can you help as soon as you can.
I haven’t used a Rollr but my understanding is that it doesn’t include a power meter - it’s designed to work with a power meter you already own.
If you don’t have a power meter, you would need to pair it as a speed sensor, which will be much less accurate and doesn’t support controlling the trainer for ERG mode or terrain simulation, and won’t be permitted in many Zwift races.
Hi @Jjam_Z, welcome to the forums. I’m Gian from Zwift.
Thank you for sharing the troubleshooting steps you’ve tried. Paul is exactly right, if you don’t have a power meter with your Wahoo KICKR ROLLR, you have to pair it as “Speed sensor” only (it should not be paired as “Cadence”) in-app as pointed out in Wahoo’s article.
It appears that you’ve followed the steps and were able to pair the Wahoo KICKR ROLLR as “Speed sensor” only. Let us know how that went for you!
