Set up my Zwift Ride a few days ago. No Issues. Went for a ride and everything was good. The core now connects but dosent register power/cadence/speed etc. Im followed the troubeshooting directions on the website using multiple different devices but cannt get the core the register. Any advice. Im waiting on a response from Wahoo.
Turn off all devices and unplug the trainer… only turn on your phone, plug in trainer, open wahoo app. Check if firmware is up to date. Does it register power/watts/cadence in wahoo app?
Ive done several variants of that. Used only the wahoo app. then only the zwift app. Seemed to start when i paired a set of jbl headphones to the tablet that is paired to zwift and the core. The headphones are turned off and removed from the room. It does not register anything on the wahoo app when I try and perform a spin down
Hey All!
Thank you for posting on our forums! Alejandra here from Zwift.
I’m sorry to hear that your trainer isn’t registering power, cadence, or speed—I know that can be frustrating. I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried.
I took a quick look at your account and noticed a couple of things to check. There are some BLE disconnections, and while you’ve ensured that no other apps or devices are interfering while Zwifting, I recommend checking this article for more details on possible Bluetooth conflicts.
Additionally, I noticed that your Zwift Ride needs an update. Please follow this article to update it.
Finally, if nothing is being registered in the Wahoo, it might be an issue with the trainer instead of the app. I suggest mentioning this to Wahoo, especially if none of the steps have resolved the issue.
Try my suggestion and see how it works for you. If it doesn’t resolve the issue, let Wahoo know that it’s not registering anything, and see what they say.
