Why can’t we use keyboard shortcuts for steering? I’m assuming the steering on the Kickr Bike is “digital” in that you press to switch “lanes”, as some YouTube demos demonstrate, then surely adding keyboard shortcuts for this same digital method would be an easy add.

Additionally, it seems like it would be possible to hook into electronic shifting for bikes that have it. I know Di2 has additional buttons on the top of the hoods, should be theoretically possible to hook into these via ANT+, like how they can currently be used to change data pages left/right on head units.

I would suspect because the current approach keeps the steering user pool small as it’s still pretty new. Give them a chance to find and resolve glitches before it becomes an open feature.
