I’ve started riding Zwift with a JetBlack Victory trainer after using my Elite Suito for a few years.
When I first signed up using a code from Elite, an Elite jersey was already available in my garage and I wore it all the time.
I saw that a JetBlack kit exists, but don’t see any information on how to get it. Does anyone know?
I believe you have to participate in one of the JetBlack events on Zwift to get this jersey. I’m not sure there are any on the calendar at the present time.
Thanks Nigel. That’s a pretty interesting marketing strategy given that Wahoo, Elite and Tacx all provide a code to unlock their kits.
I guess I need to keep an eye out for a JetBlack event.
I got a JetBlack jersey last week sometime, and I don’t think I did a JetBlack event and I didn’t specify a code anywhere. A ‘banner’ congratulating me on acquiring it just popped up seemingly out of nowhere. It might have been ‘awarded’ as part of doing a race, since I’ve only done one, but I don’t remember clearly what I had been doing when the banner popped up and the jersey showed up in the garage. Perhaps it was accumulated distance or accumulated time? I have been using the Victory on Zwift for months (never used anything else, actually), so its not like it was the result of a configuration item I changed. Memory again fails, but it might have happened shortly after the more recent Zwift software update (v1.99.0)
Hi Randy.
It was supposed to be given to everyone using a JetBlack trainer when they first used the trainer in Zwift. There was apparently an oversight and that wasn’t happening. A JetBlack representative saw a discussion of it in the JetBlack Reddit forum and investigated with Zwift, and a fix was included with the 1.99 update. Everyone should have it added to their garage with the first ride using the new update.
