Itza Climb Finish route - ended up in the roundabout loop

Hi All,

I saw couple of posts online about this but wanted to report myself as well. I did “Itza Climb Finish” route twice this week and both rides ended up with me circling in an infinite roundabout loop at the bottom of “The Grade” climb.

What is also interesting, even though I chose the same route, on first ride Zwift turned left after Itza KOM for me to do the upper part of “The Grade”. On the second ride it turned right sending me down “The Grade” right away without completing the upper climb. I never choose turns and I always follow the default turns after the chosen route completes and this is the first time I chose the same route and Zwift decided different turns.

That’s a point-to-point route, so when you get to the top, the route is finished, and after that point you get routed randomly one way or the other

I don’t think it works that way. Anytime I repeated same route in the past and I have been doing it much over last years it was always following the same turns after the route finished. That’s the first time that randomness happened on the same route.

Join a group ride on a point-to-point route that ends before the event is over. At the next intersection after route completion you will see half the riders go one way and half go the other.

So was I just lucky enough until this week where Zwift always followed the same set of turns after route was completed? Most of my weeks I do same route at least twice and never got that issue over last 2 years.
