Morning zwifters, just wondering if anyone else had had an issue while riding lately, I was a third of the way though weekly route and my bike suddenly did a UTurn. I instantly thought I’d pressed the icon by mistake. However I have my phone covered by a towel so it’s impossible for me to press. I thought maybe it was just one of those things until a Strava friend informed me it happened to him this morning.
Are you using Zwift Ride or Zwift Play controllers?
Zwift controllers. My mate doesn’t have either. I know I didn’t press any buttons as I was flying on the drops so no where near buttons
Unexpected U-turns are often a sign of faulty controllers.
I’ve also had unexpected button presses on the Companion app caused by a damp towel.
My zwift ride started doing this and only got worse until they replaced the handlebars. Some have claimed that sweat causes this. If it happens again, maybe the same thing is happening w you.
