Is pausing membership still possible?

In the past you were able to pause membership for 8 weeks.
I can`t find this option anymore?

is it still possible?

No, that option has been removed. But you can use the “cancel” option instead that does exactly the same - only it doesn’t automatically renew after a certain lapse of time. Don’t worry, you don’t lose any of your achievements etc - it will all be back when you rejoin.

The difference is that I know will lose the days until the end of the current payment-period.
In my case July 14th. (cancellation will only start from then)

While I will not use Zwift during this period.

I’m not sure about this, but wasn’t it the same with the “Pause” option?

I believe you are correct.

My period started in december, would this mean, that I loose the money from may on? This would be a mayor disadvantage for the yearly membership.

With the annual, you bought 365 days worth. At the end of this period, you can cancel for however long you wish before renewing with either another annual or a monthly membership. I don’t see the advantage of pausing over cancelling. Pausing only seems to auto-start you up again so maybe a tiny bit less effort?

If you bought a monthly membership, you can only pause or cancel (for however long you wish) beginning after your purchased month is at an end, and renew whenever you want. You can neither pause/cancel a monthly or an annual membership in the middle of the already-purchased term you purchased.

You can pause/cancel a monthly any time you like, it just doesn’t take effect till the end of the month you’ve paid for

Right, and you can cancel an annual membership any time you like, it just doesn’t take effect until the end of year you’ve paid for.
