Same problem here on W10. Cleared ALL Chrome browser data, uninstalled and re-installed Zwift. Still not working. After a reboot I get to the Lets Go screen, but then get the error message again. It works on my Android phone over home WiFi so nothing wrong with my internet connection from home.

Clearing Chrome won’t help, please use the instructions littered throughout the thread.

Same- I’ve cleaeed all History and cache etc etc as suggested- still ot working- I’m on a Mac but everything works fine on my iphone and this only started this morning

Hi Dave
I’ve crried out all your suggestions- still not getting past “forbidden” window and this only started happening today and I working perfectly prior without any changes on my laptop

Not solved for me Dave- still happening

Same here!!

Clearing cache didn’t work for me but your suggestion did - thanks Dave

I don’t use use Mac, sorry.

Thanks so much for posting - deleting those 2 files worked for me too on my MacBook Pro.

I have exactly the same problem. Zwift does not launch. Completely deleted the history in the browser and zwift too and reinstalled. No improvement. Another day ruined and nothing but trouble with Zwift.

Great work around, thank you. Worked first time (Mac user)

Thanks that worked

Ok. Tried everything. Nothing worked (Mac mini). Put in support ticket. Took 2 days but got an email telling me to remove cache in Safari (which I already had done several times to no avail). Tried Zwift after I got email from support and all worked. I think it’s a server error on their side and they have to do some fiddling with your account.

So - Get a support ticket in, seems only way for many Mac users.

Ps. My MacBook Pro was fine with it all this time. It was only Mac mini that had problems.

Same issue today, 403 Forbiden, the solution “clear the browser history” didn’t work, at the end i change my zwift password and it works, any news on the solution?

I saw somebody suggested to turn internet connection off and try to start zwift. I did and it worked fine. While loading the app I turned internet on.

I also tried clearing all the caches on all the browsers on my mac. Still get the errors. Just wanted to leave a comment here so that if support monitors these threads, they can see how many mac users are having these issues.

In working with zwift support we did find something that worked on Mac, at least once.

  1. Disconnect from wifi
  2. Open zwift, accept the warning from being offline
  3. Reconnect to wifi
  4. Launch the too again

A bit clunky but if you’d rather use your laptop than a phone it may work for you until a formal fix is ready.
