Hubone Clicker Battery draining in 3 weeks

Hi,

I have been using the Zwift HubOne for about 3 months now and I am on my 3rd battery for the Clicker.

The battery is draining in a matter of weeks. What is wrong? is there a way to turn off the clicker?

Do I unplug the HubOne? Not sure what is happening here.

Hi Mark, did you ever get this solved ? I have this problem too. As of today on my 3rd battery in less than 2 months, the 2nd batt lasted 1 week. Also the gear changing on the clicker has become intermittant and unreliable.

Hi Carlo -
Two things here.
1 - I worked with Zwift and received a new clicker. The battery life is much better on the new clicker. It should last several months.
2 - When connecting devices - every time you enter into the connection screen, always reconnect the Hub One to Bluetooth. Then connect the other devices, with the Clicker also use Bluetooth, the other devices can connect via Ant=.

2 things I am thinking here to myself

  1. Does the clicker get affected by being in effect stretched when taut and fixed by the 2 rubber bands on the handlebars?
  2. Are my bluetooth earbuds conflicting with the bluetooth signal between my laptop and the clicker?

1 - quite few people have reported problems like this, yes.

2 - maybe. They shouldn’t, but occasionally people have reported issues with Zwift BT connectivity (not specific to Click) that go away when they stop using a non-Zwift-connected BT device. To me, such examples sound like faulty equipment - properly functioning BT headphones shouldn’t cause any issues with Zwift.

I can confirm as of yesterday I see an email reply now where Zwift Support on receiving my ticket describing the problem above, have confirmed the no quibble dispatch of a new clicker – which would say to me they accept clicker issues in earlier versions of the hardware.
