I thought as a club ‘owner’ there used to be ability to go to the regular zwift[dot]com events page and click on the “manage my events” (snip below) to at least get the URL for an event in order to paste into club emails, etc ? Clicking on this link returns no results for me.
Is there a way to get the URL to provide club members for clicking on to join? Put another way, is there a way to determine the event ID# of a club event I’ve created?
I thought that only appeared for people in clubs that organize events on the public calendar. Prior to that I always used the share feature in Companion.
I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be there or not, but for the use case you mentioned, sharing via the Companion app is the way to get the link or event ID. Being an iOS user, I AirDrop it to my laptop and it opens in a browser. For any more complex configuration needs, I would contact the events team (events@zwift.com) since they can configure all kinds of other settings for private club events.
Hey John. This link ‘manage my events’ works for me on my desktop. Maybe it’s your browser if it’s not working for you. I use both, sometimes on desktop , sometimes via CA. KR; Stephan
