As you might know, the above training plan is spread over 8 weeks. Unfortunately, I was unable to train for a week and therefore missed the entire 4 workouts on week 5.
So, those 4 workouts, now show “Expired”. Is there a way I can reverse/override this and do those workouts, in arrears?
Thank you for your assistance in advance.
Short answer is no. Zwift doesnt allow for extended breaks in plans.
Probably easiest to build the missing ones as custom workouts. Use this site below to get the plan details - fairly easy to build using the built in tool. You may find someone has already built them in which case, depending on platform, you can just copy them into your system.
Thank you Dean. I’ve already skipped them and went into week 6. Shame, I would’ve liked to have completed the whole plan. The thing is, I want to use Zwift for training, and don’t as to become a slave of a computer software. I don’t mind sometimes doing things like that. In actual fact, I enjoy it, bur I don’t want to waste time while I’m trying to train.
I really appreciate you taking the time to reply.
Thank you once again.
Ride On!
The Zwift Events Manager mentioned somewhere here today that they are working on enhancing training plans and something is due for release in March. He also said that development for extended gaps is something they want to address but is a bit more challenging so wont be in that timeframe.
Your issue is very common Lenis so hopefully that get on top of that for us all soon.
Cheers
Oh, by the way, if you ever do the Build Me Up plan, someone here has made a custom workout version of these so you would have complete flexibility. Hit me up if you ever want access to them as I should be able to find if you cant.
That’s good to know. I’ll let you know if I decide to do the Build Me Up Plan.
I thought of doing the Build Me Up Plan to start with, to get some fitness for the summer. However, subsequently I decided to build my long distance riding and started the Gran Fondo instead. I’ve got a ride in mind that I’m training for. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to pull it up, but I’m going to give it a go.
Thanks once again.
