I am having a nightmare trying to get the Polar Stride sensor to work with your running app, it kept going offline, now it stays connected, but as I’m jogging on my Reebok treadmill with the sensor on my shoe, it just shows I am walking. The treadmill recorded 6km run, and the sensor via your app said I done 5.2km. Also more fun with the Garmin Cadence Sensor 2, it sees the sensor, but your app refuses to proceed to the next screen. It looks like these recommended sensors that are not cheap are not the issue. Have your developers sort this before people go elsewhere , due to the lack of resolve
Exactly the same issue here
Hey David,
I am having this same issue with my Cadence Sensor reading 60-64 rpm max when clearly i am above that…were you able to find a solution to the problem?
Cheers!
So far 44 problem reports and no responses or fixes. Add me to the list of folks who had problems with Garmin sensors. The Garmin watch receives data from them but not Zwift. MAJOR FAIL.
I am strugling with the exact same problem. In zwift companion it says its connected, but when starting to ride I get connection error and no data from the cadence sensor.
Three Years Later and still no resolution it seems. I’ve got a Garmin Speed Sensor 2 and I use a CycleOps Fluid 2 Trainer. When I log into Zwift, it shows both items as connected, but immediately upon loading into a ride, it shows no speed and no wattage, just “Connection Failure.” Then, when I go into the Menu and select the bluetooth icon, I still show both devices as connected.
Unpair all of them.
Then start pedaling now go to the pairing screen and pair only speed sensor, you should see the speed readout in the pairing screen. Now pair cadence and start riding.
Make sure that the sensor is not connected to your device in bluetooth settings or any other device.
You’re my hero, Gerrie! Thank you so much.
You are welcome.
I am so happy that you got it fixed.
Happy riding.
