This update has somehow made my play controllers refuse to connect to the PC app. The controllers can be seen and the Z button is solid blue like usual but it never changes to connected on the zwift app. My Click 2 controllers work fine though. Anyone else with play controller issues?

Hi @Jonathan_Epstein welcome to Zwift forums

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I can see from your server logs that your Play controllers are on an oudated version of firmware, version 1.1.1. There’s been two updates since that one that might help your symptoms. Latest is v1.3.1. Follow the links to the instructions, and let us know if that solves it?

Now the menu music plays for Android, reportedly a bug fix. The music not playing was a huge feature, not a bug. The menu just had nature sounds, chirping etc. It was nice. Now sitting on the menu screens I have the music blaring and no box to turn it off and get back to the birds. There needs to be sliders or boxes to control sound effects and music separately because the music is really unpleasant.

Hey @Jaysm, welcome to the Zwift forums! You can disable the title music from the login screen on Android:

Hi Shuji! Thanks so much for the help. I can confirm that updating my very old firmware on the play controllers resolved my connectivity issue on the PC version of Zwift. Thanks again!

My Zwift Click refused to connect this morning (AU-SYD time). This is on Win11. The screen said “connecting” but it never connected. After exiting Zwift I tried again, still no joy, and then switched to AppleTV and it worked OK.

Not seeing an update. Running on PC, though my iOS didn’t update on my ipad either. Ran “check for update” from my system tray and and still nothing.

Still showing 1.110.2

That’s normal since the rollout is done in phases. The PC might get randomly selected for update at any time. Release on iOS begins today.

Hi Steve! I can see from our logs you are running old firmware on the Click device. Would you be able to update to latest, 1.1.0 and let us know if that solved the issue on Windows. Thanks!

Speaking of the title music, is it still controlled by 3D world sounds?

I provided consent to connect to my Polar Verity HRM, but getting a persistent connection failure message.

I just gave it a try on Android and yes, the 3D World Sound slider controls the title music volume.

Speaking of new bike day, how about the recumbent trike avatar Recumbent News said was released this year. Where might one find this illusive treasure?

Do you have a reference for that? As far as I know it doesn’t exist and there hasn’t been any sign that it’s coming so far.

Recumbent News did an interview with Caleb Cline on setting 10 new records on a recumbent trike. They said the avatar was released in March 2026.

Thanks, I hope it comes soon. I don’t think it has but that’s a positive sign. There hasn’t been any announcement.
