Freehub compatibility

Hi, I have recently bought a freehub for my zwift hub, because I have changed from shimano to SRAM. It is the XD/XDR freehub which you recommend on zwifts own website in bike compatibility section - website from wahoofitness, but I am not able to install the freehub on my zwift hub.
It just does not seem to enter inside
Am I doing something wrong or is this freehub not compatible in which case, why do you recommend to purchase it from your website?

Sounds like you might have been directed to buy a Wahoo Kickr freehub body, which will not work on the Zwift Hub, however I am not sure exactly how you arrived there or where they said it would work.

The XDR freehub for the Zwift Hub (same as Jetblack Volt) has been out of stock for a long time so I’m not sure how you can get one now.

You do have the option to use the Cog + Click upgrade (or Play controllers) with virtual shifting, which is probably the most practical solution right now, unless you can find a Zwift Hub or Jetblack Volt XDR driver.

Well in this case I don’t understand why would they link the wahoo adapter on tgeir website and even saying you can purchase your freehub from their side

When you check out Zwift hub Bike compatibility they reffer you to wahoos website to purchase XD/XDR freehub

And @Paul_Southworth Zwift Cog is perfecly compatible with SRAM??

Or use a Shimano cassette on the Shimano free hub with your SRAM bike

I haven’t used that combination personally so I would not want to make any claims about its perfection. Online reports from SRAM 12 speed users are mixed but I don’t know if that’s due to chain fit, chain line, or poor adjustment. I can’t see their bikes and I don’t trust the quality of the information. The SRAM AXS 12 speed chain has larger rollers than Shimano, and the SRAM cogs and chainrings are designed for that, so I expect fit to be different.

Anyway you could try it and send it back if you are not satisfied with the performance.

Alternatively I think you’re looking at buying a new trainer, or getting an extra bike to put on the trainer, or waiting for the SRAM freehub body to become available again. I’ve never seen any information about its future availability.
