Hi, I just destroyed my freehub body, on my 2 year old Zwift hub - I found one online - says it’s compatible with the wahoo kickr - would it also be compatible with my Zwift hub?
I’m not sure about that, but first I would contact Zwift support to see if they want to help you (even if the trainer is out of warranty, ask anyway) and Zwift are selling the Cog upgrade with a multi-trainer freehub that is compatible with the Zwift Hub, in the Zwift shop.
Thanks! I tried to email support - I’m not a fan of the Zwift cog - as I just got a brand new bike and now again are able shift gears for real… But thank you for the response, I see what they say!
The Cog is mounted on a freehub that you could use. You could remove the Cog from it and install your cassette instead. Then you could sell the Cog without the freehub if you want. If you don’t find a better solution, that’s an available option. Anyone who has a trainer compatible with virtual shifting could use the Cog and Click without needing the freehub.
