I already have a kickr core. If I buy the zwift one upgrade can I just slot it on and use?
The Click + Cog upgrade kit currently in the Zwift shop is designed for the Zwift Hub trainer, not the Kickr Core, so to use it you would need to remove the Cog from the freehub body included in the kit and install it on the freehub that you already have on your trainer. Aside from that extra bit of effort, it will work with your trainer. You will need a Shimano cassette lockring tool and a chain whip (or cassette pliers) to remove the Cog from the freehub. Or take it to a bike shop for installation.

I couldn’t miss the chance to help you in this matter! As @Paul_Southworth let you know if you already have a Wahoo KICKR CORE, you can upgrade it to Wahoo KICKR CORE Zwift One by adding the Zwift Cog + Zwift click. Since the Zwift Cog freehub body is not compatible with Wahoo, you will need to remove the freehub body from the Cog, let me share with you this useful video to get visual guidance on how to accomplish this!
Once you remove the freehub body of the Zwift Cog, you are ready to use it on your Wahoo KICKR CORE with your Wahoo freehub body and enjoy virtual shifting!
