I would imagine that too many new roads = LOTS of people trying said roads, but eventually spreading out and could be like you’re riding alone. Keeping those roads and routes minimal keeps the number on those roads higher. Maybe. I’m sure everyone would love to double the size of all worlds!
Is there a set order in which the routes for the Hell of a Route Chaser challenge must be done? Or can you take them on in any order?
Any order, doesn’t matter
And why is there a badge for that?
Macaron doesn’t show as having a badge in Companion, but it does in the game, which is odd.
Ya, I was hoping for some short ( 1 to 2k ) punchy ( 15-20% ) climbs on narrow ( one way) roads. Maybe some day.
Why is it if you do a long route that includes other short routes, you only get the badge for the long route?
It doesn’t seem for example, riding the Knights of the Roundabout, would also get you badges for Croissant, Gentil 8 or Three Musketeers
Zwift’s answer is “You didn’t select that route, therefore, you don’t get that badge.”
I rode Sacre Bleu today, and it also covered the Three Musketeers route and Strava Segment.
Totally get your point but this is the same behaviour as we have already (for example doing the Big Ring does not get you Going Coastal, PRL half and full have to be done separately etc) so it’s consistent from that perspective.
It’s been hit or miss.
On some of the previous challenges, if you rode the route, you seemed to automatically get credit for the challenge but then that changed.
That wouldn’t be in France. You are describing cobbled climbs in Flanders. It is not far, you can do those and Paris Roubaix sectors in the same ride but it has to be long… I have done it in a 255km ride (the malteni race)
Despicable!
Welcome to the big updates.
Ventop/Ventoux has 3 routes up/down the mountain. I’m in the same boat as you.
Just borrow the real world Haute Route ventoux 3 day routes. All the ways up and down ventoux along with a number of other smaller climbs. Lots of kms and elevation and long enough to not be repetitive.
With teleport exclusion zones at the top of each climb and on the descents.
No only one: Ven-top. La Reine and ven-10 don’t go up all the way and both are just as short or shorter before starting the climb than Ven-top
Mostly Ventoux is the funniest.
Plus there’s now Half Ventoux.
