Four Horseman route completed but not badge not earned?

Blockquote Do you happen to know if the “25 times up the Alpe” badge is in the same situation?

stay on the topic or start a new thread and read the previous posts. have you rode up it 24 times already then?

I did the Four Horsemen route today but didn’t get the badge. I definitely rode the full distance including the lead in and even did more in a desperate attempt. No route changes or U-Turns etc. I have read in Zwiftinsider that maybe others have had the same but can’t see it listed as a bug in here…

Anyone aware of this and are Zwift aware?

Nothing new here to anyone who’s read this thread… but just to keep the record going, here’s the response I got from Zwift Support just now:

Thanks for getting back to us at Zwift Support!

Since it’s evident you rode well over the distance and should have been awarded the route badge, it’s near confirmation that there’s an issue with some of the route achievement badges right now. It’s something we’ve flagged up to the dev team for further investigation, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention!

While I wish it were possible to add missing badge achievements to your account, we are unable to do so due to technical limitations. I understand that this news comes as a disappointment, and for that, we apologize.

While I understand that this is inconvenient, at this time, we recommend holding off on attempting the 4 Horsemen and Uber Pretzel badge achievements until we can confirm what causes this issue, and get a fix out for it as needed. While we don’t have a schedule for the fix at this time, we assure you that it’s our top priority, and the devs are working diligently so that the badges can be awarded as they should.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue improving Zwift. Please let us know if there’s anything else that you need assistance with; we’re always happy to help in any way we can.

Sorry Tony you’re right - totally different topic.

Sam yes and just posted the reply from Zwift Customer Support I received just now. TL;DR: very sorry, but we can’t do anything for you. Don’t ride 4 Horsemen or Uber Pretzel for a badge until we fix it.

patient: “Doctor, doctor it hurts when I do This”
doctor: “OK, so don’t do it”

Odd that they state:

When they have stated already said they have a fix ready for the next release.

Left hand right hand - nothing new I guess.

This also happed to me, did the 4 horseman yesterday and no badge

Me too… did the four horsman route, no badge og XP… stupid! need to know if the bug is fixed, so i can do it again… will not spend hours without XP points for my new bike

I had the same issue yesterday. I have just emailed support with my log files. As far as I remember everything went as normal from selecting the ride to saving the ride. It all showed up OK in Strava and on my Zoom companion (the basic route and stats) but no badge or XP points.
My legs this morning definitely confirm I did it!

As per the entire thread, Zwift have stated they cannot (or will not) award badges after the fact. The fix to award a badge for the Four Horsemen and Uber Pretzel routes apparently will be implemented next month.

another late and pointless response from support. not using the 450 mill investment yet.

"Nice to hear from you again! I’m sorry for the delay in communication, we’re doing our best to respond to each Member as soon as possible.

I definitely understand your frustration with not getting the badges after riding the Four Horseman and the Uber Pretzel. Those aren’t an easy route, and I would be frustrated as well. After looking over your account, this appears to part of the known issue resulting in not receiving badges on some of our routes.

Due to technical limitations, I’m unable to credit badges, and I’m very sorry for the trouble. I know that’s not the news you wanted to hear after putting in all that effort, but we’re working very hard to correct this issue. Please know your experience doesn’t go unnoticed.

If possible, I’d like to have you send in your game logs - we’ll compare those against others who’ve encountered this bug to look for common threads. Here’s an article for locating your logs.

If you need help with anything else, we’re always an email away!"

What a pathetic limp response. Very poor they are not working hard on communicating the problem before people ride 6 hours. I would love an explanation for why this is not flagged up at route selection. But won’t hold my breath. Usual zwift SNAFU

Rode the Uber Pretzel route to 140km on Friday and the Four Horsemen route to 100km on Saturday. I explained that I was aware of the lead-in distance and the like when reporting my issue and they offered very little sympathy and seemingly blamed the issue on my end, not their softwares… Absolutely painful to have ridden 240km and climbed 5000m over 14 hours (in Keep Together mode with friends). Poor communication on Zwift’s part and even worse in the sense that they never followed up with an apology for their mistakes, and/or made the bug known.

It would be interesting to see the zwift response if Shane Miller did one of his live badge rides on a broken route, instead of one of you poor saps. Zwift really should put an out of order sign.

He already have that badge.

It is not that Zwift don’t know it is not working, it takes time to fix it.

It’s not that it takes time to fix, that is understood, what is not understood is why they aren’t warning their customers, many of whom will only choose to ride those very long courses to get the badge and mark it off their list.

The lack of customer support and communication is the main gripe here I think.

I’ve put it on the biggest Facebook group (as have a few others, unfortunately those who’ve not known about it before doing the route), and it’s been mentioned within a recent Zwift Insider article. Obviously hundreds of thousands of subscribers won’t see either, but it’s the best we can do. As usual it’s the community and third parties doing the work for them.

100%. yet still some people at zwift still have their heads in the sand. hope with the new $450 mill, there would be a new overhaul in UI, graphics and notification to their systems.

Good news:
