Erg mode not selectable in Companion during group workout

Hi, did my first group workout today. My wattages where going all over the place, so I wanted to switch to ERG mode. But the option wasn’t available on my dashboard.
Under the arch there are normally three buttons. To adjust difficulty (bias), pause and erg mode switch. I could only adjust bias. Pause button was greyed out and erg mode switch was missing.
Any idea what’s going on here?
I have a Wahoo Kickr v5. So erg mode is definitely possible.

I’d guess you probably dont have your trainer paired as a controllable - make sure you select FE-C controllable device

Just did a quick test. Connected to controllable. And you’re right. Erg mode was available now.
