Hello,
I want to join the community and purchased a trainer off marketplace they had posted a link to the elite novo force trainer once I got it home I realized they had posted the wrong link and it’s the elite tuno power fluid. Which is not compatible like the novo force is. I’m wondering if i need to buy thr Misuro B+ sensor elite says to buy or if there’s a different sensor I can buy to make this trainer compatible. The misuro b+ Is about $100 not looking to send much more on the trainer until I figure out if I like riding inside.
Thank you!
You could put a speed sensor on the bike for very little $ which would allow you to try out Zwift. Power accuracy from using a speed sensor is even worse than the Misuro B+ which is also not very good so whether those solutions are adequate depends on what you want out of it. If you just want to ride indoors in a less boring way it will work. If you want to do structured workouts based on power targets, or racing, or want to know how much power you are producing, you would need a better trainer or a power meter. Although a power meter would cost more than the Misuro B+ sensor you would have the added benefit of being able to use it outdoors as well, so it might be a better investment if you care about power. The left-side crank arm based power meters are the least expensive ones.
