I’m new in virtual riding and Zwift too.
I created my account and installed Zwift app on my Windows 11 laptop.
First I tried to find out how to associate my hometrainer but I went wrong the very first time by selecting my Assioma power pedals.
I finally have associated my Elite Direto XR-T (seems like it uses bluetooth) but when I started my first ride in Watopia, I realised after a few minutes that my power and my speed in Zwift couldn’t be real : power meter went to more than 1500 W when I wasn’t making a huge effort and my speed was at more than 70km/h.
Can you please help me fix this issue : it might just be a setting somewhere in the app but I coudn’t find it myself.
Can you send a screenshot of your My-e training settings for the Directo? Did you leave all the other settings alone aside from the power sensor association?
I’d recommend downloading the my e training app. That will allow you to access settings for the trainer. You should be able to perform a hardware reset on the Directo - I’ll check mine when I get home and send a screenshot to show you which setting it is.
I’ve installed the app on my laptop (same device than the one from which I tried Zwift).
There’s a “diagnostics” entry in the settings menu that says it’s ok after a short run.
I’lve also tried to perform a calibration which seems to be ok : meaning that metrics shown on the screen during the diagnostic looked ok
Is the number (4 digits) returned by the MyEtraining app very close to the factory value that ia on a sticker on the underneath of the base of your trainer?
By doing it from my laptop i get 6613.
The value written underneath the base of my trainer is 6415
I’m wondering if the issue is not coming from the app on my laptop.
I’ll try to test to run Zwift from my smarphone and see if I get the same erratic behavior
I would contact Elite support for advice. Raise a ticket with them. The number you’re getting it quite a long way off the factory calibration, as Rich said.
