I see a lot of discussion on here regards drop outs. I have been experiencing these for some time and they are getting worse, to the point where I gave up tonight, not once but twice. Nothing at all has changed other then changing batteries in my sensors just in case. This is getting quite ridiculous and is now ruining my enjoyment on Zwift.
General consensus seems to be it is a Zwift issue. I use a Kickr Snap, Wahoo HR strap and cadence sensor with Tacx dongle, through a PC windows 10 onto a large screen. Does anyone have any suggestions as to any possible cause if nothing has changed at my end or is it a Zwift issue that is not being resolved !!
I changed my laptop mouse from wireless to wired and resolved my ant+ dropping power. Seems it was causing interference. Zwift support helped me trouble shoot. They are actually very helpful.
I have a Snap and had the problems as you have experienced. There are many variables but what I believed worked for me was changing the router channels on my Sky router from auto to channel 6. Try and find out what channels are being used predominately within your area and go for the channel with the least usage. You can use a wifi scanning app to determine this. Also make sure that your usb port is receiving the maximum power which will allow for a stronger signal to your Tacx dongle, this can be done in your power setting on the pc. good luck. Steve
