Downloading and Updates from Zwift (windows 10)

Good afternoon,

For 2 days now I have been trying to get zwift functional.

THE PROBLEM is that when I download the setup from zwift for windows and install it. The programme starts updating and then would always stop around 5 minutes from the end and a popup message will appear stating something like “ERROR was found at Z112 with patching, would you like to visit zwift support site (yes) or (no)” if I say no then the program just closes and if I say yes it takes me online, but program doesn’t work.

I HAVE ALREADY TRIED THE FOLLOWING NUMEROUS TIMES!!!

  1. delete , uninstall , reboot and reinstall
  2. disconnecting from router and connecting to mobile hotspot (same thing- just downloads faster)
  3. I downloaded it on android and it works a 100%
  4. I have seen the software requirements and I fit the parameters
  5. If I open the simulator in the app downloaded after the setup on windows , it plays but is glitchy and obviously the old version.

My equipment regarding software:

  • 8 gb ram

  • win 10

  • 64-bit operating system

  • intel graphics 4000

  • enough space for zwift on harddrive (more than a 100gb free)

  • REFIRBISHED COMPUTER i5 DELL

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME??? I UNDERSTAND IF THE SERVER IS TO PACKED WITH PEOPLE BUT THEN INFORM THE PEOPLE???

I have had such in the past. I was finally able to update by tethering to my mobile (and then switching internet service provider…) - however, it seems you already tried something similar.

Possibly, Zwift can update the downloadable version to latest on their site (as you indicated you had no issues downloading from Zwift site itself.)

hi, thanks for the input , but as i mentioned in the comment, it truly doesn’t work, i just tried it again

i think they should update it , is there a phone number i can call regarding there tech people or anything of that nature?

No, right now Zwift Support is swamped.

The issue is caused by a slow or flaky internet connection.

You could try restarting your modem, router and Zwift device to see if that helps.
