Decathlon Van Rysel D100

I just purchased the Van Rysel D100. Set things up, but when trying to use Zwift on my iPhone the avatar hardly moves at all.

It doesn’t seem to matter what resistance I have or how high the rpm is. I avatar would only move at 5mph and the maximum it registered was 6mph.

Has anyone any suggestions

For a start, makes sure you have not paired the D100 cadence with Zwift, bizarrely the D100 does not have a functioning cadence unit (yet the Magene turbo that the D100 is based on does). If you pair the D100 cadence, it will show a static number, if seeing cadence bothers you then you need to buy a cadence unit such as the Coospo cadence or speed unit for ~£20.

Have you calibrated the D100 since getting it home?
Most turbos suggest 10mins of decent effort to warm the unit up before doing a calibration, recently my Jetblack Victory arrived freezing cold and so definitely needed a calibraation after a good warm up.

The maximum supported uphill gradient of the D100 is 6%, I’d turn “trainer difficulty” in Zwift settings to 100% so 6% or greater (max I’m aware of is ~25% on Pot Bank Yorkshire and some of the Richmond climbs) feel like ~6%.

Did you get the D100 with the Zwift Cog and Click virtual gearing?
If so, you need to pair the Click controllers by Bluetooth inside Zwift, I pair mine via the Zwift Companion app on my mobile (you need to click the pairing method in Zwift to say “pair with phone” while having Bluetooth and location enabled on phone running Companion, Zwift will show new window asking to confirm pair with phone).
