I’ve never had problems loading custom workouts on my iPad after saving them in my documents folder on my MacBook and then opening up the file, closing and not saving my ride, and then going to my iPad. I’ve been doing this for 5 years. This week, I now cannot the workouts, which load and run fine on my laptop, to sync with my iPad or even my phone. I deleted the apps from both places and reinstalled. Still the same problem.
Any thoughts?
I don’t know the answer but your report sounds similar to this one from December, which doesn’t look like it was resolved but perhaps the creator of that topic can let you know if they got it sorted out. @Cedric_Fund
This is not helpful. My iphone and ipad sync up fine with each other. They just will no longer sync with my laptop. I think the issue is with the cloud. Again, I’ve been doing this for a really long time. The gumming up came this week. One thing that might be an issue is that, when I was organizing my folders, I had some duplicate folders. I tried to delete them but that is not transferring. I am not sure how to clear out and start again.
What about putting these workouts into the Zwift ‘workouts’ folder, instead of the ‘documents’ folder? Also, are you using unique workout names? I recently had an issue with my TrainingPeaks workouts not syncing (or at least not showing in the carousel) because the same workout (or at least one with the same name) already existed in Zwift. Using unique name solved that issue for me.
Hi Nigel. They are in a Zwift workout folder. I think that one thing that might have been a problem was that I had a few folders with the same names. However, when I tried to delete them, I could not upload them to the cloud. I could only make it work on my laptop, which is not something I use for workouts. I use my ipad. I wish I could erase my entire workout folder and rebuild but, I tried that, and the cloud would not delete them.
